Black Hills Highlights and Authentic Native American Experience
My XO Adventures continues to work on building relationships with the Native American community. It's taking us time, but progress is being made. I'd like to invite you to the Highlights of the Black Hills and Authentic Native American Experience. We've combined our most popular tour of monuments, Custer State Park and Needles Highway, with a moment in the Black Hills for food, music, and storytelling.
One of our Native American friends will share music and storytelling as we enjoy our lunch. Storytelling is a way to preserve the Lakota Culture and is fascinating to learn. Some use music to further express and enhance this storytelling moment. This is also a great way to ask questions and receive answers to questions you may have about the perspective and experience of a Native American.
Learn the things we have in common and the ways we are different. Lakota learning and living can seem odd, given how you may have been brought up. But, given the opportunity, it might be revealed that different doesn't mean wrong and could be very enlightening. These first steps we're taking are with the intent to open minds, forge connections and benefit all involved. We're excited to offer this experience and welcome you to join us.
