Join us for this incredible trip to experience the festivities of Oktoberfest in Munich, the breathtaking beauty of Alpine mountains and meadows in Seefeld, Austria, and extra surprises along the way! From fairy tale castles and medieval villages, to Bavarian feasts and rich cultural history - you'll experience a lively and elegant tour of some of the most beautiful places in the world.
DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1: Departing USA
Today you depart from the US for an overnight flight to Munich! Sit back, relax and enjoy the flight.
DAY 2: Hotel Check-in
After landing in Munich, you'll transfer and check in to the 4 Star Eden Wolff Hotel, a historic structure built in 1890 comprising modern elegance yet playful touches that will ensure a warm and comfortable stay. You'll soon notice the hotel is located in a central area of Munich, with access to Oktoberfest just a 15 minute walk away or a very short cab ride.
You can easily stroll the sights and sounds of the city along with accessible public transportation that can whisk you to any part of the city in just a short time.You're situated in the historic center of the city, and close to restaurants and local friendly bars. There couldn't be a more perfect location for the days ahead. Included on your first day is a guided bicycle tour of the immediate area to become acclimated to your new surroundings. Enjoy the first evening at leisure. Meet with your new friends for dinner, have a couple cocktails at one of the several LGBTQ bars within walking distance from our hotel or experience some of the local shops and museums.
DAY 3: Munich to Explore
This is your first full day in Munich and the opening ceremonies of Oktoberfest with a festive Parade and the Mayor of Munich Ceremoniously taken to his high place to slam the gavel officially opening the ceremonies. Choose from several optional tours that will be suggested for purchase after booking. This gives you the flexibility to choose what you would like to do.
Tonight, our group will meet up with our models and have VIP access to a local LGBT Nightclub.
Day 4: Gay Oktoberfest
Today is Gay Oktoberfest! Celebrate in the Bräurosl - the gay-specific tent where you'll find plenty of beer in supply, in addition to the famous Pickle Boys! The tent holds 6ooo+ participants and you're guaranteed to have a great time. It's fun, festive and upbeat. Dancing on the tables is not unusual and the mood is jolly. We've included a complimentary ticket for a succulent roasted chicken and 2 Steins of beer. Entrance to the grounds and tents are free, but there will be long lines and thousands of people inside the tent competing for a seat at a table. If you prefer a seat, you may purchase a seat at My OX Adventure's VIP tables with our models.
Day 5: From the City to the Countryside
Check-out of Hotel and Transfer from Munich to beautiful Seefeld, Austria. Check-In at the beautiful 4-Star HOTEL CENTRAL, located right in the heart of the Seefeld. This is a day of leisure. Bask in the alpine majesty all around you, from picturesque villages and shops, to sweeping meadows and towering mountains beyond. Each day is filled with natural beauty, Instagram-worthy backdrops, rich cultural tours, and a foodie’s dream come true.
Come along with Michael and Daniel by coach (If you dare) to the Mieders Alpine Coaster!
Day 6: Neuschwanstein Castle
Travel from Seefeld to the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Mad King Ludwig II as a fantasy homage to composer Richard Wagner. The design of this inspiring Romanesque Revival castle was an inspiration to Walt Disney for his concept of his own Cinderella’s Castle. We'll all enjoy an included tour with guide telling us all about the construction and history of King Ludwig.
Later we will visit Linderhof Palace, another home to King Ludwig II and although much smaller in scale than Neuschwanstein, its beautiful gardens and fountains give it a beauty all its own.
Day 7: Innbruck & Swaravski Crystal Museum
Day 8: Salzburg
Travel from Seefeld to the city of Salzburg, the setting for “The Sound of Music” and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The birthplace of Mozart, you will spend your day marveling at its many pristine churches, medieval fortresses, grand palaces, and quaint streets and squares. We'll be escorted by licensed and qualified Salzburg guides throughout the city and in the hidden places where secrets are revealed of one of the most famous cities in Austria.
After visiting Salzburg we'll have time for a quickie in the town of FUCKING, Austria.
XO TIP: We suggest enjoy a lunch in Salzburg at the oldest restaurant in the world, the Stifskeller.
Day 9: Mittenwald & The Leutasch Gorge
Over 8,000 LGBT people will be partying in the Gay Oktoberfest tent and everyone will be competing for a coveted table seat. Skip the chaos, sit with your favorite models with our VIP tables.
