Day 1: Welcome to Havana!

Upon arrival, you will be personally greeted by My XO Adventures and your main English speaking tour guide. We will escort you to our air-conditioned luxury coach to take us to town for some sightseeing and lunch.

• CULTURAL EXCHANGE​
  ​After landing we head to Grandma's house to see what it's like to live as an everyday citizen of Cuba! Grandma knows we're coming so she's prepared some finger foods and refreshments. Here we'll meet her grandson and engage in an enlightening conversation. This is a great learning moment, so ask away!
• SPECIAL WELCOME DINNER (included)
  ​Enjoy an authentic Cuban Food Banquet al fresco at the Casa. Rest, Relax by the pool, and enjoy! Try some Cuban Coffee if you need a little pick up!

Day 2: Touring Havana's History 

• Fresh Breakfast and Fruit Juices at Casa
• ​HISTORY TOUR AT HOTEL NATIONAL  Learn about this historic hotel, its intricate lobby, hotel gardens, and the commanding view of Havana Bay. This building has served many purposes throughout it's life and has just completed a major renovation. 
• ​Drive to HISTORICAL CENTER OF HAVANA
  We’ll enjoy an informative walking tour of Havana through Revolution Square, visit the Jose Marti Memorial, and the Museum of the Revolution. See the sites of the Capitol Building, the Havana Opera House – where President Obama gave his speech to the world, the Plaza de Armas, and more.​​
• Afternoon Shopping at your Leisure
• JAZZ CLUB If you're up for learning about the the music Havana we'll head over to catch a Jazz Concert at the popular club “La Zorray el Cuervo”. Located in the basement of a historic building this club features some of the best jazz in Havana in a very hip/cozy setting. ​

Day 3: Cuban Countryside

• Fresh Breakfast and Fruit Juices at Casa
• ​Day Trip to Viñales Region 
  Renowned for its beauty and tobacco plantations, Viñales beauty is unsurpassed in all of Cuba. Journey through local limestone caves, including a boat ride through underground waterways! Next will be horseback riding (2hrs)
• Organic Farm Lunch in Paradise (included)
  ​After lunch we’ll enjoy a tour of the farm, its methods, economics, and traditions. Each guest will have a complimentary gift.
• Return to Casa (light food fare included)
  After a full day of activities and driving, we’ve arranged for each guest to have a complimentary 60-minute massage at the Casa – either poolside or in the privacy of your room.​

Day 4: Havana Art & Cuisine

• HAVANA FOOD TOUR
  We’ll visit the Historical Center of Havana for an interesting and Global Concept food tour. Enjoy the local produce, food tastings, coffee, ice cream, desserts, entertainment, meet local Cuban People and perhaps even make a friend or two! We’ll also sample some of the local liquors and enjoy a frosty beverage. (3hrs)
  After the food tour, visit the workshop of famous Cuban painter Manuel Lopez Olivia, shop at local stores (including the hip CLANDESTINA shop, La Marca (tattoo studio), and Cooperative of Street Artists
• Time at Your Leisure
• Evening at Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC)
  Tonight Dinner is on your own in the Fabrica de Arte Cubano. Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC) is a great interdisciplinary creation laboratory that exposes the best of contemporary art in Cuba, with a strong social and community approach. An old oil factory transformed into a generalist space that opens up to the exchange between the various artistic manifestations that coexist in the same building. Enjoy some wine, tapas or a full dinner at the variety of bars and restaurants in the factory. The immersion this evening of Cuban culture comes to life in sight, sound and taste.

Day 5: Fusterlandia

• Fresh Breakfast and Fruit Juices at Casa
• Visit to the “Cañejon de Hamlet”
  an artistic community consisting of Afro-Cuban religion and history, whose founder – Salvadore – opens his home to guests. This hidden Gem of Havana has ‘graffiti’ covering the walls, benches, and ground in the area, enveloping you in the art. Tour of National Fine Arts Museum (Cuban Art Building) & Artistic Crafts Fair ‘San Jose’.
• Light Lunch at the Casa (not included)
  Visit to Fusterlandia and Cacho Studio. Fusterlandia is one of the quirky and interesting neighborhoods of Havana. Filled with color, the entire neighborhood sports mosaics of tile. Artist Jose Fuster lives in the area and opens his property to the public which consists of a beautiful courtyard of art, pool and 3-story building completely covered in mosaics. The view of the neighborhood and Havana from the top is a must-see! Before leaving, be sure to have a fresh Pina Colada served out of a cored pineapple before leaving. ​
• Farewell Dinner Lobster/Seafood - (included)
  ​Tonight, we want to express our gratitude to you with a special farewell dinner provided by My XO Adventures at the Casa. We'll dine under the stars and enjoy an authentic and vibrant Cuban Band while we share our stories of our adventures throughout Cuba.

Day 6: Vámanos

• Fresh Breakfast and Fruit Juices at Casa
• Classic Car Ride
  Ride in a classic convertible car around the city. Stop at some of the private shops to do your last bit of Supporting the Cuban people and making sure to bring something home for your loved ones!​​
• LUNCH TBA
  ​Visit Art Galleries and last minute shopping. This is the end of our experience in Supporting the Cuban People. We hope you learned quite a bit about the country and its people.
